A transformative masterplan
A transformative masterplan
Liverpool Waters is one of the largest planning applications in Europe, involving the regeneration of a 60 hectare dockland site. In 2012, the local council granted outline planning consent for 1.7 million m², unanimously backing this significant development. The planning consent has a lifespan of 35 years.
World-class vision
World-class vision
The vision is to create a world-class, high-quality, mixed-use waterfront development that will help to continue Liverpool's rejuvenation.
In terms of economic scale and diversity, developing the city’s existing waterfront offer will help Liverpool compete with the likes of Hamburg, Boston, Toronto and Barcelona.
Chapman Taylor undertook the overall masterplanning for this groundbreaking project and we have a continued involvement in a number of the plots.
