Chapman Taylor to attend UK–Uzbekistan Infrastructure Conference in Tashkent
Chapman Taylor Group Board Director Marcelina Zielinska and Director Kamran Jumayev will attend the UK–Uzbekistan Infrastructure Conference on Tuesday 17 February 2026, taking place at the InterContinental Hotel in Tashkent.
Organised by UK Department for Business and Trade, the conference provides a high-level platform for policymakers, state-owned enterprises, project owners, investors, and leading UK and Uzbek companies to explore collaboration opportunities across Uzbekistan’s priority infrastructure agenda.
The event will open with a welcome address by Timothy Smart, British Ambassador to Uzbekistan, followed by a keynote address from Lord Alderdice, the UK’s Trade Envoy to Azerbaijan and Central Asia.
Discussions throughout the day will focus on key sectors including transport infrastructure (railways and airports), urban development and construction, energy, water and healthcare infrastructure, as well as infrastructure financing and PPP models. Delegates will benefit from direct engagement with senior public-sector decision-makers, networking with UK and Uzbek industry leaders, and insights into priority projects, investment needs, and delivery challenges.
Chapman Taylor will be attending the conference as part of its ongoing engagement in Central Asia and will be holding B2B meetings with potential partners and stakeholders to explore opportunities for collaboration on future infrastructure and urban development projects across Uzbekistan.
