Ideal for family outings

The New Campona project will see the refurbishment and expansion of the 20-year-old Campona shopping centre in Budapest. The redevelopment will create an all-day retail and leisure environment ideal for family outings.

Extending the centre's commercial capability

The proposals will see the centre’s leasable area grow by nearly 60%, from 41,000m² to 70,000m² GLA, with a mix of offers aimed at creating an attractive, family-friendly environment. The development will also include a 30,000m² landscaped public park.

Chapman Taylor’s Prague studio designed this asset enhancement scheme to reflect CPI Property Group's vision for a new type of retail destination in the CEE region.

A substantial leisure and F&B offer

30% of the space at The New Campona will provide a diverse range of leisure options, with 15% of the area dedicated to restaurants, bars and cafés. The centre’s F&B zone will be covered by a new feature roof, and the terraces will provide panoramic views over the new park and the surrounding area.
