Three promotions at Chapman Taylor’s Bangkok studio

Chapman Taylor is pleased to announce that three of our employees have been promoted at our Bangkok studio.

Pollajak Leelayuvat has been promoted to Associate Director. Originally from Thailand, Pollajak studied Architecture in the USA, and has worked in both the USA and Thailand for over 20 years. Pollajak is a designer with a diverse background, including architecture, advertising, branding, graphic design and fabrication. He is an experienced architect who understands the importance of the relationship between business strategy, brand strategy and design.

Passionate about improving design experience with new design concepts, Pollajak also has certification in sustainable design, with his accreditation including LEED AP (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Accredited Professional) from the United States’ Green Building Council, Construction Document Technologist (CDT) and Certified Construction Contract Administrator (CCCA) from the Construction Specifications Institute (CSI), USA.

Olly Bradley-Barnard has been promoted to the position of Senior Architect. Originally from the UK, Olly was educated in Leeds, England, and has been working in Bangkok for four years. He has over six years’ experience in architectural design, working on a range of projects from high-end retail architecture and interiors to large-scale, mixed-use developments. As a designer who has been involved in projects in a variety of different countries, Olly's approach carefully considers the socio-economic and cultural context of each location.

Olly’s strengths lie in the conceptual stages of projects. He has the ability to create and develop a design concept for each project that has a strong identity and is marketable for the client. Olly believes that having a strong design concept should always be at the heart of each project, to be reinforced, developed and refined throughout the detailed design stages.

Pimpakorn Invasa has also been promoted to Senior Architect. Pim has exceptional skills in design, planning, detailing, and construction supervision gained from many completed projects across several sectors. She has excellent problem-solving skills, combined with experience in supervising design and construction teams, which makes her a highly valuable team leader, capable of delivering complex leading projects.

Pim is able to work effectively in high-pressure situations and can be relied upon to deliver on schedule, regardless of circumstances. Her interest in sustainable design is exemplified by her ongoing efforts to deliver projects that have a strong relationship with their context. For Pim, it is important to create designs which become an essential part of the community, unique in form but rooted in the surrounding environment.

Congratulations to Pollajak, Olly and Pim on their well-deserved promotions.
