
Senior Interior Architect Anthony Abouzeid on panel for Cinema Build KSA conference, 24 February
Chapman Taylor Senior Interior Architect Anthony Abouzeid, from our Dubai studio, will be a panellist at the Cinema Build KSA conference on Wednesday 24 February.
The annual event, now in its third year, is the only major annual gathering of Saudi Arabia’s cinema construction stakeholders, including developers, designers, operators and audiovisual specialists.

Topics will include the future of the rapidly growing Saudi cinema industry, the latest technology, the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the sector and key cinema construction mistakes to avoid.
Anthony will talk about Chapman Taylor’s work with Muvi Cinemas, designing and rolling out the first ever Saudi-owned cinema brand’s venues across the country, with 10 completed to date (including the country’s largest cinema complex at Mall of Dhahran) and another 10 due to complete in the coming months. Chapman Taylor was engaged by Fawaz Al Hokair Group in 2019 to design and deliver these state-of-the art cinemas.
Pandemic-related restrictions mean that this year’s event will take place online. The one-day event begins at 09:00 Arabian Standard Time (06:00 GMT).
