Chapman Taylor to deliver Sabina luxury villa estate in Ibiza
Chapman Taylor has been appointed as Executive Architect to oversee the detailed design and delivery of Sabina, Ibiza’s first ecologically inspired private villa estate.
The estate’s 50 luxury villas, designed by a range of well-known architects, will benefit from services usually associated with a five-star hotel. Developed by Anton Bilton, Glyn Hirsch and Agustín del Pino, the villas offer breathtaking views over the Mediterranean and the surrounding countryside.
The exclusive concept creates a residential and hospitality hybrid for those who do not want to choose between the comfort of a villa and the services of a luxury hotel. There is a five-star clubhouse for residents and access to a common gym, a wellbeing temple, a swimming pool, tennis courts, a spa, a theatre and a restaurant, among other leisure and entertainment offers.
The villas, located within 17 hectares of wilderness on the western side of the island, range in size from 510m2 to more than 2,000m2. The interior décor includes raw wood furniture, linen sofas and a variety of other natural materials, such as straw and rattan, in a manner appropriate for the natural context.
The sustainable development employs water recycling and ground-sourced energy and is seeking BREEAM accreditation for its sustainable, environmentally low-impact construction.
Chapman Taylor is appointed as Executive Architect to develop the detailed design and monitor the coordination of the technical design throughout the construction phase utilising our industry-leading BIM expertise.
