Senior Architect – Concept Design team (London)
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
We have an exciting opportunity for a qualified Senior Architect to join our busy creative studio in London, to develop their career in a well-structured, supportive environment. We are looking for a talented, enthusiastic, and ambitious, design-led individual at a senior level with proven experience. You will enjoy working as part of a team working on both UK and international projects. Excellent presentation and communication skills are essential.
Your role will include:
- With the guidance of the Director, take the lead on projects from the initial concept stage, to deliver high-quality, innovative and functional design.
- Take the “brief” to establish the clients’ needs.
- Develop a clear design narrative for the project, whilst respecting our Responsible Design initiatives.
- Lead and motivate the project team through collaborative engagement.
- Ensure that all works are carried out to specific standards, building codes, guidelines and regulations.
- Keep up to date with architectural trends and advancements.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
• A qualified architect with proven design capabilities
• Experience of running medium to large scale mixed-use projects at the early design stage in the UK and internationally
• Commitment to developing high quality design information with excellent attention to detail
• Ability to present and communicate design ideas and concepts
• Good working knowledge of Adobe packages, Sketchup, and Revit (an advantage)
• Design experience working in the masterplanning, mixed-use, and resort sectors
