Lotus flower design concept
This award-winning new home for the senior management of the Bestech group is designed in an abstracted form of an unfolded lotus flower. Standing out from its competitors, the building was an engineering challenge.
Sustainability at its heart
With sustainability at the heart of design principles, the scheme was awarded a GRIHA certificate for its green credentials. Similar to BREEAM and LEED, GRIHA is the Indian government’s green certification authority.
The building won the prestigious 2015 International Property Award for Best Office Architecture in the Asia Pacific region.
The concept design was produced in Chapman Taylor’s London studio, and the schematic design was undertaken by its India studio.
