Transport: Phase one of our Asset Enhancement project at Alghero airport opens in Sardinia, Italy

Alghero - Riviera del Corallo Airport is an international airport situated near Alghero, in northern Sardinia, Italy.  

The airport has just had a makeover which was designed by Chapman Taylor's studio in Milan. The enhancements include a new main hall, a new sophisticated lighting system made up of geometric shapes, as well as adding 600 sqm of new retail.

Phase one of the project cost 12m euros.  The second phase will include a plan to rationalise interior spaces in the airport, the construction of a new arrivals area, the establishment of a connection between the old airport and the new block, the rationalisation of the road system and the construction of a 1000 space car park.
