A new core for a new district

PLAZA Grafinger Strasse will be the central development in a new district in Munich, on a former industrial site within the inner ring. The Werksviertel district is conveniently located near to the Munich-East railway station, and is being transformed into a desirable urban residential, office and leisure area. 

A multi-use scheme

A local shopping centre occupies most of the ground floor, while separate buildings with various functions complete the block perimeter on the upper levels, forming a courtyard garden on the roof of the centre accessible to the public via a grand external stair. The individual buildings are occupied by a hotel, extended-stay apartments, offices and a fitness and sports medicine building, over which a climbing centre cantilevers.

Zoning approved

The new zoning plan for the Werksvietel district has been approved by the City of Munich, with construction commencing in 2017.
