A world-class landmark for Baku

Due to open in 2018, Baku Entertainment Centre is a 120,000m² iconic landmark set upon reclaimed land from the Caspian Sea. Offering five floor levels, it is set to become Azerbaijan’s premier entertainment, leisure and dining destination.

Designed to reflect the 8-point star of the national flag of Azerbaijan

Our concept for the scheme is based upon the 8-point star of the national flag of Azerbaijan.  A central ‘flame’ tower completes the eight angled glass façades and acts as a viewing platform, offering dramatic views across the Caspian Sea and the city of Baku, while also including a restaurant and sky bar.

Concept and interior design

Originally designed by Chapman Taylor in 2007 as a congress centre, the building is being re-purposed to include five levels of entertainment, leisure, F&B and retail.  Our design for the interior is harmonised with the exterior design to provide a single homogenous concept for the entertainment centre.

Original concept designed by Chapman Taylor in 2007. Interior design appointment in 2017.
