Torrecárdenas shopping centre on course to open autumn 2018

Chapman Taylor is pleased to report that construction on the Torrecárdenas shopping centre in Almeria, Spain, is progressing well, with the project on course to open in the autumn of 2018.

The 60,000 m² complex is located in the Torrecárdenas area on the perimeter of the city, next to the hospital. Retailers such as Primark, Leroy Merlin, Media Markt and the complete offer from the Inditex group (such as Zara, Pull&Bear, Massimo Dutti, Bershka and Stradivarius), have committed to let space, with 75% of units now filled. The 150 commercial units are complemented by a multi-screen cinema, the first food court in Andalucía and an infant multi-adventure area.

Chapman Taylor’s Madrid studio designed the architecture and interiors of Torrecárdenas shopping centre for developer Bogaris. The development is set to become the largest shopping centre in the region when it opens, creating 1,300 jobs.
