Chapman Taylor design fine dining concept for French airport terminal

EuroAirport Basel Mulhouse Freiburg, a jointly run Swiss–French airport in France but close to the Swiss border, has opened a brand new gastronomic eating area, designed by Chapman Taylor Paris, bringing a whole new approach to the airport terminal Food Court.

Three Michelin Star chefs, Hubert Maetz, Jörg Slaschek and Daniel Fehrenbacher, are behind the culinary concept that brings fine dining to the airport near Basel. Passengers will be able to eat food from 13 new outlets including from the celebrated chefs in the 3 LÄNDER restaurant.

Daniela Lauret, Director from Chapman Taylor France commented: “To create the unique 3 LÄNDER restaurant we have fused an elegant atmosphere with high quality finishes and elaborate lighting to set the scene and mirror the fine food available to passengers.”

This milestone is yet another achievement for Chapman Taylor’s transportation sector and complements the ever expanding portfolio of transportation projects that includes many high profile schemes across the aviation industry globally
