Phase one of works at Gloucester Quays Designer Outlet is now fully occupied

The first Phase of our Asset Enhancement works at Gloucester Quays Designer Outlet is now fully occupied.  

Chapman Taylor were commissioned to Masterplan the existing Designer Outlet at Gloucester Quays to look for potential opportunities to create a more commercially successful and vibrant destination.

We established the opportunity to provide a leisure anchor in the form of a 10 screen multiplex cinema for Cineworld that would enable more evening activity and compliment the retail elements of the scheme.

The new cinema was accommodated within the first floor level of one of the existing vacant buildings that was extensively remodelled and extended, with the new cinema volume being accommodated behind the retained façade to minimise the impact on the street scene. The ground floor was reconfigured to provide new restaurant space and entrance for the cinema linking up to the auditoria levels.

Chapman Taylor continue to be involved in the development for the future phases of work.
