Two Hotels planned for PLAZA in Munich`s Werksviertel

Chapman Taylor has been appointed by R&S Immobilienmanagement GmbH, a subsidiary of Rohde & Schwarz, to design two hotels within the mixed-use development PLAZA in Munich`s Werksviertel area. This 25,000 m² project will also consist of a local shopping centre, offices, medical suites and a climbing wall gym.

The Moxy Hotel, with 146 rooms, is aimed at a new generation of travelers, who appreciate both stylish design and good value for money. The first floor contains the welcome area, library, a bar and lounge. The hotel rooms offer a cosy atmosphere combined with fresh contemporary design.

In addition, a Residence Inn by Marriott with 72 rooms is planned. The Residence Inn caters mainly for long-term guests, families and large groups. Spacious suites offer a cosy interior, a fully equipped kitchen and a shopping-service are some of the features of this hotel concept. 

Construction will start at the beginning of 2017, the completion is planned for the end of 2018.
